Five Elements Talisman Pendant

A small hand-painted talisman, framed in gold-tone metal and worn close. Each pendant is painted by hand by a Daoist practitioner from Maoshan, one of China's oldest Daoist mountains, so no two are exactly alike.

The panel colour follows the Five Elements and the zodiac signs traditionally linked to each:

• Wood (green) · Tiger, Rabbit
• Fire (red) · Horse, Snake
• Earth (amber) · Ox, Dragon, Goat, Dog
• Metal (gold) · Monkey, Rooster
• Water (blue) · Rat, Pig
